She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Sopata and Mary Gruse-Sopata; her sibling Francis "Foozie" Sopata; and her children, Hector, Christy, Huey and Princess.

She is survived by: her sister Patty Sopata; her sons, Kenneth Penrod, Jeffrey Penrod and Jason Penrod; her daughter-in-law Lori Penrod; her grandchildren, Nicole Rudolph, Hunter Penrod, Sabrina Penrod, Natalie Penrod and Emily Penrod; her great grandchild Keatyn Rae Rudolph; her friends, Carol Means, Bunny Koehler, Patsy Jacoby, Mary Bayless-Jarvis, Helen Roberts, Brenda, Greg Howard and Sue Lender; and also, Dawn Brooks, Victor Brooks and Robbie Jenkins.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you consider completing a selfless act for a stranger, a family member, a friend, or an animal.
