We are sad to announce that on August 11, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Daniel James Gallagher of Silver Spring, Maryland, born in Baltimore, Maryland. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Daniel Gallagher and Martha Veronica Wojtazsik; and his brother Eugene. He is survived by: his son Barry James Gallagher (Patty); his wife Rachel Louise; his grandsons, Patrick James, Connor Andrew and Austin Harrison; and his devoteds, Scottie McTavish and Dan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
After finding out what living in a rural, redneck area was like and how it was extremely cliquey, and covid made them feel even more isolated, the moved back to Silver Spring, MD.
He underwent an autologous transplant in which donated his own stem cells at the University of Maryland Medical Center (UMMC), in Baltimore, Maryland in the Spring of 2012.
