He was predeceased by: his brother Vinh Phuc Nguyen of Grand Rapids; and his parents, Long Phuc Nguyen and Ngan Thi Lê of Hanoi, Vietnam.. He is survived by: his wife Anh Pham Nguyen of Silver Spring, Maryland; his sister Mai Fowler; his brother-in-law Richard Fowler of Las Vegas, Nevada; his daughter Stephanie Thanh Xuan Nguyen; his son-in-law David Darrell Dyer; and his grandson Tyler Nguyen Dyer of Bloomington, Indiana..
