He is survived by: his children, Ava Lewis of Atlanta and Franck Caplain of Lehman, France; his sisters, Lydia Lewis Alexander of Bessemer, AL and Gwendolyn Lewis Harllee of Washington, DC; and his sister-in-law Mae Lewis of Ocala, FL. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.
