He was predeceased by: his brother Elmer; and his granddaughter Christina Splaine. He is survived by: his wife Patty; his children, Tammy Myers and Samuel Splaine (Judy); his siblings, Jack (Annette), Jay Collins (Bonnie), Lucy Arvin, Lawrence Collins and Juanita Trent; his grandchildren, Bradley A. Myers, Cara Leatherman (Levi) and Ashley Splaine; and his great grandchildren, Chloe, Garrett, Gavin and Owen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
