He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Verna Alexander Woodson; his children, Hillary Woodson Gaskins (Toussaint) and Darren Russell Woodson; his grandchildren, Felton Armstrong, III, Savannah Woodson Reeves and Asa Gaskins; and his sister-in-law Paula Alexander Wilks (William).
