He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Elaine Chew; his children, William A. Chew, Peter G. Chew, Cecile A. Franklin, Michael A. Chew and Calvin J. Chew; his grandchildren, Tonisha McIntyre, Nicholas Chew, Safichia Chew, Tariq Chew, Julian Chew, Damion DeShields, Kelsey Leonard, Natalie Franklin and Bradley Franklin; his great grandchildren, Annabelle Martin, Nickayla Chew, Jenna McIntyre and Tyler McIntyre; and his siblings, Henry Chew, Teddy Chew (Fabian) and Carmen Ross.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
