We are sad to announce that on September 17, 2022, at the age of 88, Carolyn Remmers Havel (Silver Spring, Maryland), born in Louisville, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Jerome Havel; her parents, August Remmers and Blanche Remmers; and her sisters, Nancy Remmers Cook and Mary Remmers Miller.
She is survived by: her brother John Edward Remmers; her children, Sarah Stacer Petersen, Mary Petersen Collishaw (Jim) and Daniel Charles Petersen; her stepdaughter Paula Marie Havel; her grandchildren, Daniel Petersen, Anna Collishaw, Patrick Collishaw, Matthew Collishaw and James Collishaw; and her great grandchildren, Marina and Soren Petersen.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations should be made to the Cancer Research Institute.
