We are sad to announce that on November 24, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Carol Ann McGowan of Silver Spring, Maryland. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Boyd O. Custer and Cathern L. Custer (Jeffers); her husband Harry "Ronnie" McGowan; and her sisters, Sue Gore and Dee Dee Manda.
She is survived by: her children, Michele (Brian Lintz) of Laurel, MD, Michael of Silver Spring, MD and Stephen McGowan (Dawn Stuart) of Ijamsville, MD.; her grandchildren, Michael Landy, Ryan Lintz, Zachary Lintz, Jennifer McGowan and Stephen Patrick McGowan Jr.; her siblings, Peg Schrock (Lynn) of Johnstown and Ron Custer (Texas); her siblings-in-law, Mary Alice Drummer of Johnstown and Mike Gore (Bill Manda); and her pet Peaches. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Frank Duca Funeral Home, Westmont Chapel (1622 Menoher Blvd, Johnstown, PA 15905). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church (415 Tioga St, Johnstown, PA 15905).
