Carmen A. Buchanan Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 28, 2024, at the age of 92, Carmen A. Buchanan of Silver Spring, Maryland passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carmen A. Buchanan to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francisco Borja Anderson and Josefa Torres Barcinas Anderson; her husband Franklin Key Buchanan (Frank); and her siblings, Juan Barcinas Anderson (John), Beatrice Barcinas Anderson Paulino, Isabel Barcinas Anderson (Beck), Patricia Barcinas Anderson Guzman, Dorothea Barcinas Anderson Champaco and Francisco Barcinas Anderson.
She is survived by: her children, Elena Randall, Franklin Buchanan (Buck) and Theresa Chapman; her grandchildren, Veronica Schultz, Kevin Yordy, Jeremiah Buchanan, Crystal Loprete, Christopher Randall, Michael Randall, Melissa Moore-Esquivel, Anthony James Buchanan (AJ), Paige Humphries and Erin Palmer; and her siblings, Sylvia Barcinas Anderson (Bebang), Vicente Taisipic (Ben), Tomas, Priscilla Barcinas Anderson (Lilang), Joseph Anderson (Joey) and Rose Catherine Anderson Mateo (Cathy).
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (520 Veirs Mill Rd, Rockville, MD 20852). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Rockville Senior Center (1150 Carnation Dr, Rockville, MD 20850).
