She was predeceased by: her husband Frederick W. Barnes Jr. Betty. She is survived by: her children, Pamela Barnes Monroe and Frederick W. Barnes III; her grandchildren, Alexandria T. Monroe and William Elijah Barnes; and her friend Mimosa. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins and devoted friends.
