It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara Jean Taylor of Silver Spring, Maryland, who passed away on March 30, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her sister Alma Florence Carter. She is survived by: her brother James Pete; her son Ricky L. Taylor (Valerie); her husband Marion G. Taylor; her son Ronnie O. Carter (Janis); her grandchildren, Lindsay O. Datcher (Earl), Eric L. Taylor (Helen), Heather L. Phillips and Lafayettte Wallace Phillips, III; her brother James P. Carter; her siblings-in-law, Richard Ruffin (Clara) and Reacie Lindsey (Russell); and also Ronnie O. Carter. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

She was a trailblazer and made significant contributions to the Clinical Center Office of Purchasing and Contracts.
