It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Assunta Chirichella (Silver Spring, Maryland), who passed away on January 6, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John Chirichella. She is survived by: her daughter Laura; her siblings, Giusepina and Giani Chierichella; her brother-in-law George Chesky; and her grandchildren, Sabrina, Nina, Myles and Sophia. She is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
