He was predeceased by: his brother Malcolm; his nephew Joel; and his wife Beatrice L. Litman. He is survived by: his children, Ellen Litman, Ruth Litman Robertson, Judith Litman, Andrew Litman and Margaret Litman Jones; his sister Lois Winston (Emanuel); his sisters-in-law, Cynthia and Myra Litman; his grandchildren, Aaron, Shira, Adrienne, Seth, Sam, Jeremiah, Troy, Jessica and Candace; his great grandchildren, Reagan and Avery; his nieces, Debra, Ann, Susan, Jennifer and Stephanie; and his nephew Bruce.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Anti-Defamation League.
