With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Antigoni G. Yakoumatos (Silver Spring, Maryland), who passed away on November 21, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Socrates Metaxatos and Maria Metaxatos (Toumazatou); and her siblings, Athanasia and Vangelis. She is survived by: her children, John (Lan), Socrates Yakoumatos (Valerie Elias Yakoumatos) and Effie (Jim); her grandchildren, Joanna Hawley-McBride (Sean), Morgan Martucci, Celine Yakoumatos, Preston Yakoumatos and Ryan Yakoumatos; and her sister Dionysia Pistikou. She is also survived by her family, home, neighbors.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saints Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church (701 Norwood Rd, Silver Spring, MD 20905). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
