She was predeceased by: her parents, Maceo Banner and Julia Roberts. She is survived by: her son Keith R. Shelton of Silver Spring, MD; her half-sister Katherine H. Scott of Winston-Salem, NC; and her niece Ericsson Lash of Bethania, NC. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Her mother worked at Moravian Music Foundation alongside her sister, Catherine R. Kroger.
