It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anita Elaine Obarakpor of Silver Spring, Maryland, who passed away on May 25, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter and Dorothy Massey of Mayo; and her siblings, Jerry, Dale, Kathy and Linda.

She is survived by: her husband Jarvis Omare Obarakpor; her children, Marquesha and Trevor; her grandchildren, Elaina, Samayah and Kairo; and also Dorothy Massey.
