“We loved Alan very much. Am sad he passed but yet glad he passed in his home, suddenly. Selfishly I thought I'd at least get another year from him!. We were to go to Ambars Rest. in DC together. We will go sometime with him in spirit. My heart hurts with the selfish act of missing him...”

“I was stunned to learn of alan's passing. I knew he was 94 but expected him to be around for at least another year! John & i visited with him feb.24th while he was at rehab from his trike spill. On 3/3 he e mailed me to say he was home & well. And then he passed, where he wanted to be, at home. We will go to ambar's rest. In dc like we planned but without the physical pressence of alan. Forever with us in spirit he will be. Yet sorely missed! Too soon those 30 years we were friends went by !”
