He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ray Cook and Anna Cook (Johnson); his siblings, Earnest Cook and Victoria Henderickson; his grandmother Verna Johnson VanTine; his stepbrothers, Thomas Kennedy Jr. and Larry Kennedy; his cousin Nate; his wife Sheila Shapiro Cook; his grandchildren, Danielle, Madison, Devaeh, Danika, Danae, Danyi, Poffenberger, Alexis Crabtree and Dillon Moore; his sisters-in-law, Marlene, Susie and Diane (Mark); his sisters, Jackie Bowman (David) of Salem, Jane Cook Simmons (Bill) of Shepherdstown and Annette Monday (Tom) of Norwich; his stepsister Laini Amaritnant (Kitt); his aunts, Jean Markiewicz, Char Wenzel and Mickey Johnson; his uncle Don Wenzel; his cousins, Verna Johnson Broekhuizen, Linda Bradford, Elaine Rohinsky, Lauren Miller, Stephen Stark, Bryan Moore, Connie, Leslie, Fred Cook and Dianna Sparks; and also, Helena Shapiro and Gale. He was also cherished by four dogs and a cat.
