She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Lee Mullendore and Thelma Hood Mullendore; her husband Morris Shapiro; her daughter Gale Shapiro; and her brother Robert Mullendore.
She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Shapiro, Marlene Shapiro, Sheila Cook (Tom) and Diane Unger (Mark); and her brother George Wayne "Buzz" Mullendore (Ardath). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren.
