He was predeceased by: his parents, Basil Underwood and Dola Caulkins Drennen; his siblings, Lawrence, Marie, C. H., Eileen and Edward; and his grandson John Drennen.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Stroup Drennen; his sons, Charles Drennen (Cara), Robert Drennen and Michael Kelly; and his grandson Benjamin (Lexis).
