He was predeceased by: his siblings, Darrell Ray Bennett and DeDe Jo Bennett. He is survived by: his parents, Lacy R. Bennett and Theda J. Shipe; his son David Lee Bennett; his stepchildren, Dakota Lucian Johns and Brittinei Elica Vance; his grandsons, Dominic Leonard Vance and Asher Lee Bennett; and his siblings, Dana Bennett and Lacy Bennett.
