He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Henry and Amy A. Drury Ward; his wife Marian E. "Peepy" Ward; his daughter Sharon D. Churchey; and his siblings, Blanche Violet, Sally Milburn, Julia Myers, Hazel Myers, Molly Marshall, John Ward, James Ward, Harry Ward, Joe Fisher and Chester Yost.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Jane Steinman of San Antonio, TX, Laura Sue Martin of Halfway, MD, Jennifer Hess, Heather Mason, Jodi Mercer, Clyde D. Ward, Jr. of Sharpsburg, MD, Mike E. Ward of Williamsport, MD and Timothy L. Ward, Sr. of Williamsport, MD; his brother Alfred Ward of Smithsburg, MD; and his great grandchild Numerous Neices. He is also survived by 15 Grandchildren.
