She was predeceased by: her parents, Elza Brian and Sally Canterbury Adkins; and her brothers, Rick Adkins and Randall Adkins. She is survived by: her husband Richard Lee Shaffer; her sons, Brian Lee Shaffer of Hagerstown, MD, Christopher Brent Shaffer of Sharpsburg, MD and Matthew Ryan Shaffer (Kara) of Martinsburg, WV; her brothers, John L. Adkins of Chester, WV and Rodney B. Adkins of Sharpsburg, MD; and her grandchildren, Jesse, Damien, Quinton, Braden and Kaylen.
