He was predeceased by: his father George Churchey of Washington; his wife Elva Mae Henson Churchey; his son Dennis R. Churchey; his foster daughter Brenda Mellott; and his siblings, Thelma Strite, Josephine Jackson, Ruth Lohman, Evelyn Clark, Dorothy McCoy, Clifton Churchey, Howard Churchey, Raymond Churchey, Grover Churchey and Lloyd Churchey.
He is survived by: his son Warren A. Churchey (Corrine) of Falling Waters, WV; and his grandchildren, Cierra Churchey, Joshua Dunkin and Nathan Churchey. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
