It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Annie Herndon (Sharpsburg, Maryland), born in Boyds, Maryland, who passed away on April 9, 2019, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Grimes and Mary Robertson Grimes; and her siblings, Samuel Grimes, John Grimes, Ernst Grimes, Jr., James Grimes, Janice Parks, Francis Faucette and Rose Marie Grimes.
She is survived by: her husband Richard L. Herndon; her children, Thomas Herndon (Shirley) of Millsboro and Gaela Reese (Garry) of Sharpsburg; her siblings, Steve Grimes (Judy), Walter Grimes, Eleanor Roelkey (Robert) and Kitty Reid; her grandchildren, Richard L. Herndon II (Melinda) and Melissa A. Hawse (David); and her great grandchildren, Joshua, Allison and Shyla Herndon.
