He was predeceased by: his brother Leon Brown (Doris). He is survived by: his wife Elaine Nick Brown; his children, Roscoe A. Brown Jr., Beverly G. R. Brown McKinney (Kirby), Renita Brown and Rita Brown; his granddaughters, Lacy McKinney and Nai McKinney; and his siblings, Elsie T. Smith, Carolyn Dennis and Robert Thompson (Betty). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins, and other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, family is requesting donations to Franklin United Methodist Church in honor of Roscoe A. Brown Sr. (To Treasurer).
