She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Booze and Elsie Harris Booze of Galesville, Maryland.; her husband Gerald Thompson; her son Charles McKinley Green; her granddaughter Devonna Green; and her siblings, Rev. Melvin Booze, Sr., Joseph "Nick" Booze, Nannie Crowner, Sophie Thompson, Gladys Brown and Evelyn Turner.
She is survived by: her daughter Claudenia Thompson; her nieces, Sandy and Sundays; her sons, Douglas, Lorenzo (Jenean) and Gerald Thompson (Darryl); her grandchildren, Shawn, Kali Patterson, Jasmine, Shay, DeVon Thompson, Jayla Yates, Raenell Dorsey, Sheldon, Enrico Green, Duewa White, Kee, Redden, Veronica Grant, Khalil Grayson and Stefan Charles Gansert; her sister Dorothea McCullers (Osie); her sisters-in-law, Juanita Booze and Darlene Washington; her adoptive son Tyrone B. Patterson; and her nieces, Casandra Smith and Danita Baker. She is also survived by 32 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Matthews United Methodist Church (6234 Shady Side Rd, Shady Side, MD 20764). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM and at 11:00 AM. A burial will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at the Ebenezer African Methodist Episcopal Church Cemetery (967 Main St, Galesville, MD 20765).
She was faithful in continuing to raise money to donate to the Annual Men's Day Rally to honor the memory of her late husband.
