With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Samuel E. Higgens (Severna Park, Maryland), who passed away on September 11, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Higgens and N. Elizabeth Higgens; and his wife Patricia Higgens. He is survived by: his children, Richard Higgens (Susan Petrie) of Durham, NC, Timothy Higgens (Evelyn) of North Attleboro, MA, Lynn Garcia of Westminster, MD, Brian Higgens (Joan) of Glen Burnie, MD and Gail Whitehead (Kenny Jackson) of Greensboro, MD.; his grandchildren, Christina Higgens, Nathaniel Higgens, Ryan Higgens, Eric Higgens, Tracy Winder, Wayne Winder, Catherine Winder, Stephanie Higgens, Miriam Jackson and Sarah Jackson; and his great grandchildren, Evangeline Higgens, Adam Higgens, John Higgens, Lilly Higgens, Veydah Winder, Zekyron Winder, Antonio Escobar, Bridget Thornton, Steele Thornton and Meadow Higgens.
