He was predeceased by: his father Barry Gesner. He is survived by: his mother Susan Gesner Danziger; his wife Beth Gesner; his children, Meg (Gesner), Shernisky (Tommy) and Burt Gesner; and his brothers, Mark Gesner (Margaret) and Matt Gesner (Victoria). He is also survived by his nieces, nephew, and entire extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Larry Gesner's name to support the brain tumor treatment program at Johns Hopkins University, Department of Neurosurgery or to support cancer research at the Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center.
