He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Etzel and Mary Ann Etzel; his son Mark Eugene Etzel of Severna Park; his daughter-in-law Barbara Etzel; his granddaughters, Dr. Erin Nicole Etzel and Eden Noelle Etzel; his friend Catherine "Kitty" Barranco; his wife Ruth Anne Etzel; and his brothers, John and Joseph Etzel.
