Francis J. Newnam Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Francis J. Newnam in Severna Park, Maryland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 23, 2025 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Francis J. Newnam to pay them a last tribute.
Though Francis may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Francis touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Newnam and Anna Newnam. He is survived by: his sibling Irish; his wife Neda Newnam; and his children, Lisa Helle, Lauren Crum, Brendan Newnam and Marinko Stokic. He is also survived by six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the PBS Foundation or NPR.org to honor Frank's passion for news and quality media programming.
