He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon LeRoy Myers Sr. and Alice Gauger. He is survived by: his wife Connie Myers; his niece Dana Brooks; his great-nephews, Christoper Brooks (Emilie Andercyk), Darius Brooks (Alexis Garmer), Malik Brooks, Jahleel Brooks (Isiss Turner) and Kaeyden Brooks; his nephews, Darius Brooks Jr. and Greyson Brooks; and also Rylee Mae Brooks. He is also survived by cousins, family, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation, an organization that is close to the hearts of Vernon's family. Donations are also accepted to The Connie Myers Foundation to help support Connie during this time.
