She was predeceased by: her parents, Beulah Queen and Tom Thomas; and her sister Kim. She is survived by: her friends, June, Lola, Thelma Lou, Brenda and Vanessa; her children, Michael Henson Jr. (Tiffany Cone-Henson) of Pasadena, Tiffany Henson (Ke'Andrea Watts) of Annapolis and Reggie Thomas Jr. (Morgan Thomas) of Denton, Maryland.; her grandchildren, Tai'Juan, Kani, Micha, Michael III, Nasir, Knowledge, Jenesis and Ke'Amani; her great grandchild Amor'e Carroll; her godchildren, Teressia and Buddist; her siblings, Lee, Gerald, Marie and Phyllis; her sisters-in-law, June Hawkins and Rosalyn Mackall; and her nephews, John Jr. and Kevin Floyd. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, devoted nieces, nephews, friends, and her chosen extended family.

Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mt. Calvary United Methodist Church (1236 Jones Station Rd, Arnold, MD 21012). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. Just ask her "pandemic crew," who could tell countless stories of her boundless energy and humor.
