He is survived by: his parents, Mac Dresner and Blanche Dresner; his spouse Marcia Dresner; his sons, Jonathan Dresner (Woody) of Pittsburg, Kansas and Michael Dresner (van) of Springfield; his granddaughters, Shawn, Samantha and Evelyne Dresner; and also Sara.

Donations in his memory can be made to the American Civil Liberties Union.
