She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Henry Elfery and Laura Elizabeth Elfery; her husband William Samuel Murphy; her son Kenneth Murphy; and her sister Susan Panetta.
She is survived by: her daughter Jean Gentry (Mark); her grandchildren, Mark Gentry (Shannon) and Erin Freitas (Sam); and her great grandchildren, Sydney Gentry, Harper Gentry, Mark Gentry, Riley Freitas, Jordy Freitas, Ramsey Freitas, Charley Freitas and Oakley Freitas.
Laura's family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the SPCA in her honor, reflecting her deep love and compassion for animals.
