He was predeceased by: his wife Betty J. Helman; his daughter Connie A. Wood; and his sister Alice Bateman. He is survived by: his children, Barbara L. Stripling (Michael), Chuck I. Helman, Jr., Traci, Pepsie Harding and Laurie M. Dustin (Bill); his siblings, Joseph Helman (Delores) and Louise Wood (John Wood); his grandchildren, Rob Helman (Allie), Amy Spence (Matt), John Wood (Erinn) and Michael Wolper; and his great grandchildren, Vincent, Brianna, Abby, Connor and Edenn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
