“I just learned of carole's passing. I was her classmate and friend at american university from 1962 to 1966. She and i dated and i was lucky enough to have her as my date at our senior "prom" there. I am so very sorry about the family's loss. I will always carry marvelous memories and sincere feelings for her. God bless her to his care and love. You know, i think i loved her a little bit and if so i am so very fortunate and thankful for that. Jim cunningham”
