He was predeceased by: his parents, W. Norris Saunders and Louise V. Willey Saunders; and his former wife Ann Sposata of Elkton. He is survived by: his wife Norma Lee; his sons, Richard A. Saunders, Mark W. Saunders (Jennifer) of Elkton, Michael A. Saunders of Elkton, Matthew C. Saunders of Elkton and Joe Saunders of Churchton; his grandchildren, Courtney, Carter, Trent and Mason Saunders; his great grandchildren, Jaax and Slade; and his sister Bonnie Peters. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
