She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Marshall and Mary Coulbourn Marshall; her husband Victor E. "Sonny" Hurst, Jr.; and her sister Mary Margaret Marshall. She is survived by: her children, Tina Basel of Secretary and James Edmund Hurst (Joy) of Hurlock; her stepchildren, John F. Hurst of Georgia, Victor E. Hurst III of Georgia and Kaynelle H. Gazafy (Matt) of Georgia; her grandchildren, Brandi Ward (Brennan), Jenni Gazafy, Austin Basel (Kelsey), Arielle Marek, Arianna Basel, Jacob Hurst, Zachary Hurst (Katelyn), Faith Hurst and Gabriella Hurst; and her great grandchildren, Aron Ward, Graci Brack, Clay, Jace Hurst, Jude, Marah, Indie, Lavender Basel, Brooks and Ila Marek.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Secretary Methodist Church. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Thomas Funeral Home, P.A., 700 Locust Street, Cambridge, MD 21613 to help defray funeral cost.
