It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matthew Lauck (Secretary, Maryland), born in Cambridge, Maryland, who passed away on February 18, 2020, at the age of 35, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandmother Stella Joanne Dodson. He is survived by: his son Jace Emery Lauck; his siblings, Angie Abey (Billy), Heather Lauck and Jimmy Lauck; his stepsiblings, Charlie Perry and Shana Morgan; his niece Averi Lauck; his nephews, Trey Abey, Sr., Landon Abey, Lane Abey and Ayden Sparks; his grandparents, James "Dugar" and Anita "Sugar" Lauck; and his close friends, Bill Whaley and Leigh Tomey. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be sent to Newcomb and Collins Funeral Home, P.A., 308 High St., Cambridge, MD 21613 to help defray funeral cost.
