Marjorie Ridgell Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marjorie Ridgell of Scotland, Maryland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 15, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Adelaide Trossbach and Linwood Trossbach; her husband Charles E. Ridgell, Jr.; her daughter Linda Ridgell; and her siblings, Hilda Hall (Norris Trossbach), Addie McBride and George Trossbach.
She is survived by: her children, Beverly, John A. Morrison III, Bonnie, Michael E. Kessler, Ami and Charles E. Ridgell III; her grandchildren, Leslie Morrison, Christopher Morrison, Gary Morrison, Shaun Kessler, Candace Kotch, Emily Ridgell and Charles Ridgell IV; her great grandchildren, Tyler Densford, Reid Densford, Henry Densford, Asher Densford, Lucy Kessler, Luka Morrison, Julietta Morrison and Darcy Kotch; and her sisters, Nita Smith, Frances (Bill Trossbach) and Amy (Benedict Fenhagen).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home (41590 Fenwick St, Leonardtown, MD 20650). A prayer will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Michael's Church (16566 Three Notch Rd, Ridge, MD 20680).
