With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Snowden (Sandy Spring, Maryland), born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on March 8, 2019 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Helen Snowden to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell E. Bacon and Mary C. Bacon; and her sibling Ella Louise Coates. She is survived by: her husband Asbury Richard; her sister-in-law Mary Queen; her daughter Sandra Reeder (Carl); her granddaughters, Carla Mason (Shaun) and D'Awndra Reeder; her great grandchildren, Jada and Shayla; her goddaughter Sheena Foreman Seegers; her aunts, Pearl Parker and Edythe Pratt; and her uncle William Willis. She is also survived by four stepdaughters; four stepsons, numerous step grandchildren and countless nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
In lieu of flowers, you may make donations in honor of Helen Snowden to the Thelma Ricks Scholarship Fund at Sharp Street United Methodist Church.
