He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Vernon Wilson Sr. and Princess Wilson (Mitchell); his son Todd Wilson Sr.; his grandson Tyler Wilson; and his brother Joe Vernon Wilson Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Minister William J. Wilson Jr. of Washington, DC, Shelia Hitch (Dwayne) of New Castle, Angela Downing of Denton and Lillian Kenney (James) of Brooklyn Park, Maryland; his grandchildren, James Smith of Salisbury, Edwin Deshields Jr. of Baltimore, Todd Wilson Jr. of Georgetown, Neshon Downing of Salisbury and Zhane Hitch of New Castle; his sisters-in-law, Dr. Geri Mason of Salisbury, Rita Chandler of Salisbury and Karen Chandler Carden of Newport, Virginia; and his uncle Yeacha Lee Mitchell of Salisbury.
