He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilhelm Wiersberg and Angela Wiersberg; his brother Robert Wiersberg; and his grandson Spencer Butler Wiersberg. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Ann Wiersberg; his sons, Phillip Wiersberg (Terri) and Richard Wiersberg (Gerrie); and his grandchildren, William, Elizabeth, Hannah and Samantha.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Bill may be made to Wiersberg Warriors Foundation at the Fruitland Police Department.
