He was predeceased by: his daughter Gail Ryan; and his brother Lee A. E. Ryan. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ryan; his children, Karen Azbell (Mark) and Michael Ryan; his stepchildren, Beth Lewis and Scott Jestice (Jan); his grandchildren, Kristen Taylor (Ryan), Ryan Azbell, Dillon Lewis, Jessica Lewis, Jack Jestice and Tony Jones; his great grandchild Zachary Taylor; his siblings, David Ryan (Barbara) and Dorothy "Dot" Bayly (Bob); his sister-in-law Carolyn Ryan; and also Connie Allen.
