He is survived by: his mother Sharon Lee Kiel; his wife Yvette Michelle Yates; his children, Edgar Lee Yates, Savanna Morgan Yates, Vanessa Nicole Yates, Bridgette Corrine Dorsey, Justin Tyme Dorsey, Megan Michelle Oliver, Robert John Tedrow and Michael Oliver; his daughters-in-law, Kayla Yates, Terriq Bivens, Sr., Schuyler, Angel Oliver and Haylee Sellards; his grandchildren, Cheradyn Oliver, Alexander Oliver, Ava Bivens, Violet Dorsey, Adalynn Yates, TJ Bivens, Jr. and Abel Matthew; his son Marcus Dorsey; and his siblings, Michael Edward Yates, Sharon Lynn Griffin and Lorrie Ann Yates.
