He was predeceased by: his father William Hankerson, Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Letha Moore Hankerson; his children, Keontae Smith, Dereon Hankerson and Nhyla Hankerson; and his siblings, Alfonso Hankerson, Christopher Boyd Hankerson (Kelly), Sidney Hankerson (Chyral), Mary Terrell (Dewayne), Valerie Daughtry (Robert) and Angela Oliver (Ricky). He is also survived by several uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (Historic Sanctuary) (528 Booth St, Salisbury, MD 21801). A burial was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at the Flower Hill Church Cemetery.
