She was predeceased by: her parents, Calvin Dennis, Sr. and Emma Kelley Dennis; her siblings, Tyvolia Douglas, Calvin Dennis, Jr., William "Bill" Dennis and Samuel "Tobe" Dennis; and her son Anthony Cannon.
She is survived by: her friends, Lola Lewis, Betty Collins, Janice Conquest and Esther Dickerson; and her children, Harry R. Cannon, Clifton Cannon (Brenda), Lawrence Cannon (Fannie), Barbara Gumby and Beverly Douglas (Kevin). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
