He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Taylor and Della F. Niblit Taylor; his wife Mary Frances Taylor; and his siblings, Harvey, Marion, Wilmer Taylor, Sarah Cooksey, Mildred Korth and Annie Tapman.

He is survived by: his daughter Sharon Taylor Steckman (Glenn) of Salisbury; his grandchildren, Christopher Webb (Jennifer) of Sinking Spring, PA, Kelley Webb of Tampa, FL and Will Steckman of Salisbury; his great grandchild Brayden Webb; his nieces and nephews, Stacy and Dan O'Connell; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Cassidy and Grady of Bishopville, MD..
